Laptops Donation to NITW Students

Students are selected by the college through a formal process (annual income of parents less than 2 lakh rupees) and laptops are distributed to them in a public event in the college Auditorium (see above photos and media coverage for the 1st distribution of laptops funded by some of the alumni in India). Each new laptop (from a local distributor who also covers maintenance) costs 30K rupees.
